Rob Wallstrom
For over three decades, Rob has led transformations at companies like Saks Fifth Avenue and Vera Bradley. What he learned: the frameworks that promise breakthrough often deliver stagnation because they're built on false paradigms.
Today, he helps accomplished leaders stop running the hamster wheel and start cultivating organizations that actually flourish.
WHO I'VE WORKED WITH
Rob Wallstrom has spent over three decades in the rooms where the hardest leadership decisions get made.
As President,CEO and Director of Vera Bradley for nearly a decade, he led one of retail's most complex brand transformations — acquiring Pura Vida, launching goodMRKT, and building a culture recognized by Forbes as America's #1 Best Midsize Employer. Before that, he spent nearly two decades at Saks Incorporated, where he repositioned the Manhattan Flagship into an international luxury icon complete with its own zip code and then repositioned SaksOFF 5TH from a struggling outlet division into a market-leading “luxury in a loft” growth engine. His career has taken him from LA, to Texas, to Manhattan to the boardrooms of retailers, businesses, non-profits and churches, with stops along the way that shaped not just his strategy — but his convictions.
What those years taught him is something most leadership books won't tell you: the frameworks that promise breakthrough often deliver stagnation and instead because they are built on false paradigms.. The harder you work the system, the faster the wheel spins — and the further you get from the flourishing you were pursuing.
That realization led Rob to something different.
Today, as Principal of LTV Advisory and a leadership consultant rooted in his Christian faith, Rob works with accomplished leaders who are tired of running harder and getting less of what matters. He doesn't bring a new framework to replace the old ones. He brings a fundamentally different question — one that reorients how you see your organization, your people, and your role within it.
The result isn't just better performance. It's organizations that actually flourish.
Rob holds a degree in Business Administration from San Diego State University, Director Consortium from Stanford University Graduate School of Business, and completed a Theology Masters from Dallas Theological Seminary. He currently serves on the for-profit boards of Brotherhood Mutual Insurance Company and Intertech Products. He is the founder of The City on a Hill Foundation, and goodMRKT. Currently the Chairman of the Board for New Hope Girls in the Dominican Republic, member of the Board of Governors for Greenville University, IL, and Board member of Love Fort Wayne. He is based in Fort Wayne, Indiana, and Telluride, CO.
What Leaders Say.
Leaders who work with Rob gain clarity on what actually matters, build cultures where people thrive, and lead with confidence, making decisions from first principles rather than copied frameworks. This is not made up fluff but real feedback.
